Classic Peninsula Kitchen Case Study | Huddersfield | West Yorkshire

Published: 23 November 2021

A dated kitchen was transformed into a spacious classic kitchen design with modern fixtures and fittings and additional storage.

Wanting a practical and low maintenance kitchen Mr & Mrs Charlesworth booked a free design appointment for a Senior Designer to visit their home to design their kitchen, discuss kitchen concepts and provide a provisional quote.

Visited by Senior Designer Julie, Mr & Mrs Charlesworth discussed the design options available including how they could modernise their kitchen and make better use of the available space.

Happy with the information gathered Julie created an open kitchen design that included removal of the existing obstructive glass units that cut the room into two.

The new classic kitchen now consisted of clean modern lines and crisp blue kitchen storage cabinets with modern bronze kitchen handles combined with glossy white slimline kitchen worktops to brighten up the now light and airy room.

An island was also attached as part of the peninsular kitchen design to create a more open space for socialising, with space for 2 stools to use the area for informal dining to go alongside the formal dining area.

Brand new appliances including a space saving slide and hide oven and a modern induction hob were fit at eye level for ease of cooking and cleaning.

All surfaces including the oak effect vinyl kitchen flooring are easy to clean creating a low maintenance space for Mr & Mrs Charlesworth to entertain guests.
