An old-fashioned kitchen was transformed into a spacious, traditional kitchen with bespoke features.

Wanting to update their current kitchen design and to keep to its style of being traditional. Mr & Mrs Middleton booked a free design appointment, for a More Kitchens Designer to survey their home, gather their early design ideas, and provide them with expert advice.

Visited by Senior Designer Julie, Mr & Mrs Middleton discussed with them design ideas and options for their traditional kitchen which included making better use of their kitchen space, to make it more usable, and to add more storage.

With all their requirements taken on board and having received expert advice from Julie, Mr & Mrs Middleton were happy to carry on with the process.

Julie then invited Mr & Mrs Middleton to our kitchen showroom based in Mirfield to present them with a CAD design to help them to envision their new kitchen.

The design consisted of stunning, low maintenance, white quartz kitchen worktops. Shaker style cabinets were installed throughout making the kitchen more elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Alongside an easy to access open shelving unit, and an eye-catching scalloped Belfast sink to match the white colour scheme. Recessed lighting was also installed to improve the brightness of the kitchen.

The new spacious open plan design made space for a centralised seating area.

Mr & Mrs Middleton wanted to keep their beautiful cream Aga oven, which was placed under the kitchen chimney breast. All the lighting was redone to add more brightness to the area and covered all the fuses that were previously exposed. They kept the original stone floor style to tie in with the updated traditional kitchen design.
